This is an antique silver plated biscuit box. The silver plated frame stands on three splayed pad feet with reeded columns above. There is a pierced band at the base. Swags to roses around the middle. The original diamond cut glass insert has a plain silver plated band plus a hinged lid. c1880 British made. This has been replated.
