Antique Silver Plated Samovar or Tea Urn of Small Size

This is an antique silver plated samovar or tea urn. Of small size. Standing on a circular base that is bead mounted. Rising to a cylindrical body that is engraved with swirls leaves and flowers around a vacant cartouche. Working tap. This has two shaped side handles. This retains its original inner grille. Pull off lid with a bold finial. c1870 British made with a makers mark for Roberts & Briggs of Sheffield within a plaque on the inside together with Loysel’s patent. This has been replated.
