This is a handsome antique silver plated kettle on stand by the renowned maker Elkington & Company. Their makers mark is stamped underneath. c.1880 British made. This can shaped teapot has an engraved swing handle, flat flush hinge and straight spout. Bead mounted to the stand and also the teapot. This has a band of engraving of scrolls to the stand, lower part and upper of the teapot. Crisply engraved around the body with scrolls. This has been resilvered.
