This is a small antique silver plated samovar or tea urn by Gorham Manufacturing Company. c.1880 American made. Standing on a square base tray that houses its original burner. Four legs with paw feet topped with acanthus leaves support the round tea vessel. There are two realistic lions heads with rings through its mouth as handles. Pull off lid with a spike finial. This is sold in original plate with wear to the base tray.
