An attractive antique silver plated samovar or tea urn. Standing on four large ball & claw feet supporting a square base. Waisted at the bottom rising to a bulbous body. Shaped handles. Finely engraved with swirls and flowers. Vacant cartouche. This has not been replated, showing little wear. c.1880 British made with a makers mark for John around & Sons of Sheffield stamped to base rim.
