Antique Silver Plated Biscuit Box with Large Bird Finial Possibly a Pheasant
A charming antique silver plated biscuit box. The cylindrical shaped glass body is etched with a geometric design within a beaded oval with flutes in-between. The silver plated mount has a band of leaves. A swing bead mounted handle. The hinged lid is engraved with a circle of leaves. The finial has a large bird, possibly a pheasant standing on a floral base. c.1880 British made. This has been resilvered.
