Vintage Silver Plated Butter or Caviar Dish with Rollover Dome Lid

A vintage silver plated butter or caviar dish. Standing on four feet with scrolls to roundels on top. This round dish retains its original glass liner. Rollover dome shaped lid that is finely engraved with leaves and scrolls. When an ice cube is placed below the glass liner, this items becomes a refrigeration unit, keeping the contents cold. c.1950 British made. This is sold in original plate with minimal wear.
