Antique Silver Plated Kettle on Stand by Gilmore & Watson of Glasgow

An antique silver plated kettle on stand. The base stands on four curved feet holding its original burner with two chains & pins attached. These pins slide into the side of the teapot to hold it in place. The tea pot is stylishly embossed with flowers and leaves around a vacant cartouche. The fixed handle has a shaped wooden section with matching wood finial. This has been resilvered. c.1900 British made with a makers mark for Gilmore & Watson of Glasgow stamped underneath.
